Behind every good campaign, is a good song. A song that captivates and encompasses the very essence of its campaign. Caint is here to help and encourage the speaking of irish and we challenge every musician in Ireland to write a song that helps us spread the word of this campaign.
The song must have at least a line, verse or chorus sung in Irish. All attempts can be emailed to paul@caintcampaign.com. All attempts will be shown here at www.caintcampaign.com. This site is receiving alot of traffic and we hope this will be encouragement to the young bands and musicians of Ireland (or anywhere else for that matter). We will help promote any musician who helps promote the Caint Campaign

A fantastic song written for that Caint campaign that really grabs the excitement and buzz of the campaign. As everyone on the Caint team and Mr Gary Dunne himself are helping this cause for free and in their own time, we hope other's out there would help us now create an inspiring video to accompany this great song. Gary is currently getting the final mix on the track done.

Shane Davis is a singer songwriter from Carraroe,Co. Galway, but is now based in Dublin. Having played in and out of bands for the last 7 or 8 years Shane has finally gone solo and started writing his own songs. A collection of these songs can be found on his myspace page. (www.myspace.com/davisshane).Shane is currently working the acoustic circuit nationwide, playing venues such as Whelans, The Sugar Club in Dublin, to the Candlelight Sessions in Waterford and the Wexford Song Club. All the songs are home recorded by Shane himself and he is hoping to release an E.P. sometime next year.
